Summary/Objective
Prepare commercial loan closing document packages for all
commercial lending staff. Be knowledgeable of required
documentation for all types of commercial loans. Provide back up to
the Credit Analyst as needed.
Responsibilities

- Maintains the highest level of professionalism when interacting
with team members and business partners through friendly,
informative, and helpful communications, which are key to
understanding and identifying needs, solving problems, and in
representing the Credit Union.
- Takes ownership of each request and is highly responsive in
finding solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Member and Business Focus - Helps create alignment of risk
management with revenue generation by ensuring compliance with
commercial lending regulations maintaining a keen focus on
efficiency and quality control as a way of streamlining the overall
compliance check function and accompanying processes.
- Coordinates with business units to obtain data and provide
support to ensure compliance with the commercial lending
regulations. Provides results of testing, assists with developing
controls to address inconsistencies or issues identified, and
reviews procedures to ensure business units are accurately
collecting and reporting loan data.
- Serves as a trusted resource to fellow team members by
possessing strong knowledge of HHCU products, services, and member
experience standards, and always acts in the best interest of the
member and Credit Union.
- Develops and maintains successful working relationships with
internal and external members to influence and provide effective
Credit Administration/Compliance processes, advice, clarification
on policies, and support.
- Engages in problem resolution from start to finish by
clarifying the issue, determining the cause, and following up to
ensure there is a resolution.
Acumen and Technical Savvy - Possesses proficiency in Credit
Administration systems and processes to ensure compliance with
regulations and serves as an independent quality control.
- Utilize Harland LaserPro commercial lending software to prepare
commercial loan closing packages for the Commercial Lenders in an
accurate and timely manner.
- Utilize the XP2 core processing system to fund new loans and
update existing loans and insure each transaction balances.
- Set up and track ticklers and image documentation using the
Suntell lending software.
- Process vehicle titles, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare correspondence to members on loan maturity, document
corrections, etc.
- Use Microsoft Excel and Word to prepare reports, create
documents, letters, envelopes, and other documentation.
- Assist Commercial Lenders with their loan portfolio, maturing
loan report, hazard insurance, etc.
- Transmit collateral insurance information to Allied Solutions,
and follow-up on tracking issues.
- Assist with the gathering of files and required information for
regulators, auditors, and examiners.
- Request and monitor mandatory loan documentation with Vendors,
flood determination, environmental checks, UCC searches and
filings, etc.
- Perform reviews on funded loans to ensure all the data in the
core system mirrors data in the loan documentation.
- Completes annual Bank Secrecy/OFAC and any related training
annually as assigned by Training or Compliance Staff. Complies with
all applicable BSA/AML laws, rules, regulations, policies and
business practices established by Credit Union management.

PM19Knowledge Requirements
- Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for
projecting a positive image as representative for the Credit Union
to members, potential members, and Credit Union staff.
- Work requires knowledge of financial reports and tax
returns.
- Requires judgment to solve day-to-day problems, but usually
within established guidelines.
- Requires equivalent to high school degree plus some
post-secondary technical course work.
- A minimum of six months in a credit position or equivalent
required.
- Knowledge of word processing, Adobe and spreadsheet software
and the use of the Internet.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Normal accessibility of HHCU branch and corporate work sites
required for the position with occasional overnight travel for
training, conference, or industry events
- Normal physical mobility and agility, which includes movement
from place to place on the job, and the ability to maneuver body
while in place
- Normal dexterity of hands and fingers
- Normal coordination, including eye-hand, hand-foot
- Works in typical administrative setting with climate control
and appropriate lighting
- Work requires occasionally lifting and carrying up to 10
pounds, taking frequency into consideration
