Business Partner is a business-minded, dynamic HR professional who
will support HR functions including Associate relations, talent
management, performance management, Associate engagement and a
high-performing work culture. This person must be results-oriented
and partnership focused with an approach that is responsive and
aligned with business strategies. In addition, this role will be
instrumental in facilitating an Associate -oriented, high
performing, diverse and inclusive workplace culture.The HR Business
Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business
objectives with Associates and management in designated business
units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function
to deliver value-added service to management and Associates that
reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP
maintains an effective level of business literacy about the
business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture
and its competition.Essential Position Duties:* Partner with the
departmental leaders of businesses they support on various
strategic initiatives such as organization and culture,
transformation and succession planning, etc. Provides guidance and
input on business restructures, workforce planning and succession
planning.* Partners with management and oversees the movement of
talent across the organization.* Provides guidance and coaching to
Associates concerning Associate engagement, performance management,
career development, talent assessment and retention. * Support
Talent Acquisition Partners in managing the life-cycle of the
recruitment process to include: working with hiring managers to
identify the required knowledge, skills and abilities, and the
sourcing and recruiting, screening, and hiring of successful
candidates.* Partner with Associates and leadership to develop
policies and programs to attract, retain, and promote a diverse
workforce.* Partner with business leaders to identify training
needs for business and individual executive coaching needs.*
Conduct on-going training needs assessments and recommend Associate
training programs by partnering with the Training and Development
Team. * Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training
programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training
objectives are met.* Provide guidance and coaching on Associate
relations matters. Conducts effective, thorough and objective
investigations when necessary. * Facilitate conflict-resolution
measures and corrective actiondiscipline processes as needed.*
Leverage the TMH on-boarding program that introduces organizational
policies, procedures, organizational culture and facilitates
Associate retention for new Associates within their business
units.* Lead and facilitates the off-boarding process; conducts
exit interviews with Associates, monitors trends and makes
recommendations for policy and cultural changes, as appropriate.*
Support all TMH talent management processes including annual
performance review process, performance improvement processes,
succession planning, compensation management and Associate
recognition systems while ensuring that talent management is an
ongoing and effective process.* Communicate health and wellness,
retirement and other benefits programs provided by TMH. * Support
the TMH Internship process on an annual basis. * Partner with
Compensation and Benefits team to manage Associates leaves and
benefits process (FMLA, Short term Disability, Parental leave,
Tuition Assistance, Monthly pay changes, etc.)* Support the
administration of TMH's annual merit and bonus planning process.
Make recommendations, as appropriate, partners with Total Rewards
team to ensure the plan aligns with the organization's
performance-based culture and also remains competitive with
relevant external markets.* Monitor workplace practices to ensure
full compliance with all applicable employment laws; provide
guidance and interpretation of existing policies as needed.*
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to
day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and
ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department
as neededrequired.* Interpret TMH policies and communicate
changesadditions throughout the organization.* Research external
human resources data, trends, and best practices and make
appropriate recommendations for improvements.* Partner with
Associates and leadership to evaluate current capabilities and
organizational needs.* Works closely with management and employees
to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase
productivity and retention.* Performs other related duties as
assigned. Education & Experience:* Bachelor's degree in Human
Resources, Communications, Organizational Leadership, Business
Administration or related field required.* Highly developed written
communication skills, verbal communication skills and conflict
resolution skills a must (particularly dealing with people of
diverse cultural and international backgrounds).* Ability to show
initiative and work within a busy environment with conflicting
priorities.* Able to observe strict confidentiality in all aspects
of services provided.* Flexible work ethic to meet varying work
load demands of the position.* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word,
PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.* Knowledge of ADP or other HRIS
systems.* Excellence in organization and time management; attention
to detail and the ability to learn quickly.* Professional,
positive, confident and energetic attitude.* Must be a team-player
who enjoys working in a collaborative work environment* Commitment
to lifelong learning and process improvement* Ability to convey
