IMMEDIATE NEED FOR A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT SUPERVISOR A growing, mid-sized civil consulting firm is looking to hire an RPR/Project Supervisor. This person will be primarily inspecting DPW and INDOT construction projects but will also inspect municipal water/wastewater projects as well. This is a long term opportunity to join a company who is getting a deep backlog of INDOT projects around Central Indiana. This company will keep you busy through the winter time and will give you consistent, full time hours year round. This is a great opportunity to step foot into a growing company local to the Indianapolis market.Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Construction Supervisor/RPR experience on INDOT and/or Indianapolis DPW projects.
• INDOT Certified Technician
• SiteManger experience
• Ability to run inspection project from start to finish (RPR or Project Supervisor experience)
• Excellent communication skills especially in keeping updated daily and weekly inspection reportsInitial Project:DPW on-call contract for street repair /repaving in residential neighborhoods of Indianapolis. Also, upcoming INDOT project for Crawfordsville District - installation of median cable barriers on I74 in Boone, Montgomery counties.Most projects will be located in Central Indiana and there will not be overnight travel.Daily responsibilities of this role include:-Overseeing all inspection work on the project (supervisor/RPR)-Observation of contractor's daily work to ensure design specifications are kept-Documenting daily reports of the work done by the construction contractor. This person will be keeping a daily report and a weekly summary report of work done on the project.-Communicating with the firm's engineers in office, construction contractors and local government agencies regarding the project About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
