The ideal candidate will work closely assisting physicians and clinical staff in educating and advocating for our pediatric patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who likes a challenging busy clinical environment! This position will allow the RN to grow and learn professionally on a daily basis. We have hours available Monday-Friday 8a-5p, with the potential to pick up extra hours in the evenings and on weekends. Minimal weekend and holiday requirements. Staff work together in a team-based model and encompass compassion, purpose, and excellence in their care.32 hours weeklyRequires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity and inclusion at IU Health.
