Associate Vice President – International Marketing will serve as a
senior leader responsible for driving Lilly’s international Disease
Awareness Campaigns and International localization of the
Masterbrand Campaigns. This role reports to the Senior Vice
President and CMO–Consumer and leads all aspects of teams creating
integrated OUS campaign development for disease awareness campaigns
, media planning, and buying for the international business unit
and the localization of existing and future above Brand Lilly
Campaigns. The AVP will work with influence across International
leadership teams, partner with cross-functional global teams, and
lead partnerships with individual affiliates to deliver
breakthrough consumer engagement strategies and culturally relevant
campaigns OUS. Key Responsibilities International Brand Leadership:
Lead centralized marketing teams and parter with regional and
affiliates’ marketing teams to deliver on Lilly’s international
campaign strategies, ensuring consistency and impact across all
global markets and channels. Strategic Vision & Governance: Develop
and implement long-term brand architecture for international
campaigns and governance frameworks to guide teams through the
execution of multiple international campaign efforts. Innovation &
Transformation: Lead marketing efforts rooted in consumer insights
and creative excellence, tailored to diverse international
audiences. Campaign Oversight: Oversee the development, execution,
and optimization of multi-channel, multi-concept campaigns at the
international level, ensuring cultural relevance and regulatory
compliance and lead the teams through delivering strong
single-minded campaign concepts that adapt for local nuances. Media
Planning & Buying: Lead the newly formed Global media team,
responsible for the centralization of the global media strategy,
planning, and buying activities for international markets,
collaborating with global teams and affiliates to improve reach and
effectiveness and ensure local relevancy. Agency & Partnership
Management: lead teams across media and creative agency for
international campaigns and media budget, and create a strong layer
of governance and operations that allows for excellent execution.
Data & Analytics Leadership: Collaborate with advanced analytics
teams and champion measurement frameworks to optimize performance
and inform strategic decisions across international campaigns.
Creative Development: Work across Lilly’s global teams and agency
partners to develop creative campaigns for disease state education
in OUS markets from ideation to production, launch, measurement,
and in-market optimization. Risk & Compliance: Ensure all
international marketing activities adhere to regulatory, privacy,
and corporate standards globally and lead the teams in coordinating
to adhere to singular affiliates’ regulations. Financial
Stewardship: Oversee multi-million-dollar budgets for international
campaign and media planning and buying in partnership with
procurement and analytics, ensuring fiscal discipline and
compliance. Talent Development: Inspire and develop an elite
marketing team, fostering creative excellence and a passion for the
Marketing craft. Basic Requirements Bachelor’s degree required. 15
years of marketing leadership experience, including global brand
strategy and integrated campaign management. Qualified applicants
must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time
basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work

advanced degree preferred. Consistent record of influencing
executive leadership and driving enterprise-level initiatives.
Experience leading large budgets and sophisticated collaborator
environments. Expertise in international mass marketing,
multi-channel media, and consumer engagement strategies. Strong
critical thinking, analytical skills, and ability to lead through
ambiguity. Demonstrated success in building and leading diverse,
high-performing global teams. Pharma experience is a plus but not
required. Other Position based in Indianapolis; relocation package

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $232,500 -
$341,000 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
