Researches topics, develops scripts, and conducts on-camera interviews. Utilizes strong creative and technical skills and oversees a video project from conception to completion, including working with writers and web professionals in a variety of marketing activities such as digital advertising, email marketing, social media marketing, and web content marketing. Ensures creative decisions, including subject research, visual design, creative brief and script development, editorial decisions, project schedule, and other production managerial decisions are aligned with the Kelley School's overall brand story and connect with the audiences on an emotional level. Works alongside internal stakeholders to evaluate, interpret, and conceptualize marketing strategies and video requests. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in media arts, telecommunications, journalism, or a related media field and two years of experience in video production, photo production, or multimedia development. Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University. Working knowledge of and ability to operate camera and audio equipment. Strong location shooting skills. Knowledge of lighting concepts and techniques. Skill in nonlinear post-production editing. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information with a wide diversity of individuals. Ability to work independently. Strong writing skills. Experience with the following equipment: DSLR video cameras, audio, and lighting equipment. Experience with the following software: Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop. Preferred Qualifications Extensive portfolio of finished projects. Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate file formats and codecs for distribution via web, social media, and other channels.
