    Performs analysis on assortment performance for assigned categories and makes master assortment recommendations to the Buying partners to improve assortment productivity within each store. As part of the line review process, generates store clusters and clustered assortments that align with the defined Category and Assortment strategy. In season, provides the Buying partners with assortment and SKU performance insights and recommendations. Leverages a suite of Blue Yonder category management tools and BI/Analytics tools to develop and maintain store clusters and clustered assortment recommendations that maximize sales, margin, and inventory performance for the assigned Categories.
    
    1. Conducts analysis of their assigned assortment peformance both as part of the scheduled line review process and in season to highlight emerging opportunities to improve assortment performance in each store. Leverages tools and reports to provide actionable insights for review/consideration by the Buyers for the assigned categories.
    2. Utilizes Blue Yonder's channel clustering capabilities to generate stores clusters that align with the defined strategy and that can be operationally supported by the organization.
    3. During the Line Review process, partners with Merchandising, Planning, Space Planning, Marketing, Inventory Management, and Store Operations to develop and deliver relevant clustered assortments.
    4. Identifies opportunities to improve analytics and use of existing tools to enhance and advance the recommendations generated by the Analyst team, and recommends enhancements to Space Planning leaders.
    5. Partners with the Space Planning team to ensure alignment of clustered assortments and assortment peformance with the development of localized and versioned planograms.
    6. Provides the Space Planning team with data insights to use in developing the placement of products in the planogram and that support Merchandising Presentation standards and guidelines.
    7. Partners with the Buyers and the Marketing team to document presentation standards and guidelines to be used by the Space Planning team to place product on the versioned planograms.
    8. Continues to advance knowledge and use of the tools and reports through on-going training and coaching opportunities, and shares insights/learnings with Space Planning leaders to develop best practices to be used across the team.
    
    Qualifications
    
    1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
    2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Space Management, Merchandising, Assortment, and/or Merchandise Planning required.
    3. Deep analytical skills with demonstrated capabilities to navigate spreadsheets, data warehouses, and reporting tools required. Ability to modify/update reports and analysis required.
    4. Prior experience with Assortment and Clustering tools preferred, with prior experience with Blue Yonder's Assortment Optimization and Channel Clustering applications preferred.
    5. Strong evaluation and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and draw actionable conclusions from extensive data sets required.
    6. Demonstrated ability to focus attention on and effectively communicate data insights, and the ability to effectively communicate how ideas and insights can be put into action required.
    7. Demonstrated ability to work well with teams and cross-functional partners, and work independently with minimal direction and supervision required.
    8. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven capabilities to summarize and deliver clear and concise insights and recommendations to a broad audience preferred.
    9. Strong prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking skills with ability to deliver results under aggressive timelines.
    10. Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the aptitude to learn and advance capabilities and skills preferred.
