This is a unique position that exclusively serves our dedicated pool supply customer during peak season (March-September) and then works local routes during off season. The best of both worlds Our dedicated drivers enjoy the many privileges that come with having consistent customers, including predictable home time, schedules and freight types. CDL-A Local Truck Drivers with Averitt are the champions of the local area, earning the opportunity to develop long-term relationship with the customers they serve. As an Averitt driver, you''ll enjoy in-cab technology that makes communicating with dispatch and navigating routes a seamless process. Must have Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements CDL-A Dedicated Driver Benefits (March-September): $2,500 sign-on bonus for qualified drivers through February 28, 2021 ($1,250 at 90 and 180 days) Average $1866 / week (while running dedicated route) Competitive starting pay of .58 cpm and $20/stop Leave out Sunday afternoon and return Friday Average 2700-2800 miles/week and 15-20 stops/week CDL-A Local Driver Benefits (October-February): Competitive hourly pay (while running local route) Daily home time Additional Benefits: Paid time off including 8 paid holidays (after 90 days) Excellent insurance coverage that includes medical, prescription, dental, vision and hearing starting as low as $93.95/week for family plans and $36.95/week for individual plans Company-paid life insurance and short-term disability benefits Profit Sharing plan allows you to share in the rewards of our efforts, with a portion of our profits given back to you as monthly direct deposits into your retirement account Referral rewards - cash bonuses for referrals Averitt''s fleet includes local, dedicated, and regional truck driver jobs.
