Summary/Objective
Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify
improvements of various information systems, including, but not
limited, to core operating system, loan origination, imaging, and
OLB. Provide technical direction to ensure that the application is
effectively implemented and managed across the organization. Offer
best practices and recommendations for process integration,
application development, deployment, and ongoing enhancements of
each platform. Administer system additions/changes/deletions.
Perform a mixture of production support of existing applications,
as well as new development. Responsible for broad reaching
planning, execution, risk management, scheduling, measurements,
maintenance and implementation of all information systems that
service HHCU.
Responsibilities

--- Ensure team delivers outstanding service to both internal and
external members that is in alignment with the Credit Union's
Service Promises. Meet all established service goals as measured by
the Internal Service Survey.
--- Perform job duties within our bylaws, regulations, Board of
Directors policies, established internal and external service
standards, and our work procedures.
--- Complete annual Bank Secrecy/OFAC and any related training
annually as assigned by Training or Compliance Staff. Comply with
all applicable BSA/AML laws, rules, regulations, policies and
business practices established by Credit Union management.
--- Apply senior experience and expert knowledge applicable to a
variety of disciplines and systems, including principles of
processes and functionality. Responsible for analyzing impact on
current procedures and operations for business process changes;
analyze, research, and develop both business process solutions and
system development solutions for system processes and
functionality. Coordinate with Project Management and HHCU staff on
various projects or requests. Maintain a holistic view of all
business processes and users in the system to understand
cross-functional impacts regarding configuration, process, work
flow and reporting. Understand system connections, workflows,
interfaces, and how they affect each other.
--- Analyze and review reports and processes to assure conformance
with standardized system functionality, operating procedures, and
regulations, and participate in work groups and department-wide
improvement projects and initiatives for HHCU. Serve as control
point for analyzing requirements to ensure standardization of
system functionality, business processes, and compliance.
--- Provide support to internal end-users of different systems.
Support users with technical advice and problem resolution.
Identify and procure the hardware and software needed to satisfy
user requirements. Interface with vendors to obtain required
equipment and software in a timely manner while ensuring proper
audit and budget controls are met. Work under limited to moderate
supervision to analyze and solve mildly complex operational and
systems-related issues. Assist with IT Processing Schedules on
rotational basis including daily, weekly, monthly, month-end, and
year-end.
--- Determine operational objectives by studying business
functions, gathering information, and evaluating output
requirements and formats. Design new computer programs by analyzing
requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying
system capabilities, and writing specifications. Improve systems by
studying current practices and designing modifications. Recommend
controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
--- Maintain current system versioning. Research changes in
upcoming system versions and other integrated applications. Design,
document, build, test and deploy enhancements. Maintain and utilize
the test environment, and perform routine review of code,
configuration, data, and usage to ensure long term viability,
integrity, and adoption. Develop Quality Assurance program to
complete deliverables, test solutions, record issues and implement
changes, as needed. Perform Integration Testing and User Acceptance
Testing (UAT) and Functionality Testing Define and review test
plans as needed.
--- Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation
rules, custom workflow, and approval processes. Prepare data sets,
statistical reports, and computer applications to support financial
analysis work. Create and maintain databases and management
reports; analyze and interpret data to identify anomalies, trends,
and opportunities for improvements. Prepare reports by collecting,
analyzing, and summarizing information. Develop and implement
databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other
strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Create
ad hoc reports as requested by management, sales, and operations
staff.
--- Assist with junior members of the team and less experienced
peers. Serve as technical escalation point for issues that are
unable to be resolved by traditional support roles.
PM19--- Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary
for projecting a positive image as representative for the Credit
Union.
--- Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science or related field.
--- Minimum 5 years professional IT experience in a related role
administering systems and working within project teams. Experience
working in a financial institution preferred.
--- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, system
administration, project management, and the implementation and
development of internal and external facing IT systems, preferably
banking and e-Commerce platforms. Ability to identify problems and
determine accuracy and relevance of information and to use sound
judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives and to make
recommendations.
--- Ability to work with users to assess needs, provide assistance,
resolve problems, and satisfy expectations. Strong analytical and
communication skills.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
--- Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control
and appropriate lighting
--- Maintenance operations will require standing, bending,
kneeling, etc.
--- Work requires occasionally lifting up to forty pounds.
