Communicate production material needs to off-site Warehouse personnel and stage materials based off of the Production Schedule prioritization. Supply production areas/lines with materials and product to ensure uninterrupted operation(s). Collaborate with multiple groups/areas to arrange timely pick-up of finished product or return materials. Complete all (physical and electronic) inventory transactions and documentation at the time of performance and return paperwork to appropriate line in a timely manner. Contribute to creating an environment where teamwork, productivity, safety, identity, strength, purity and quality (SISPQ) are reflected in the finished product.Inspect, label, and package pharmaceutical products to meet client demand and expectations. This position reports to a Manufacturing Supervisor Essential Duties and Responsibilities (these are primary and secondary responsibilities of the role. The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned): Primary Responsibilities and Related Duties Warehouse: Picking and Staging Select materials for production use based on the material allocations on the electronic inventory pick list Count out, or break-down, materials per the pick list quantities required Ensure materials picked contain appropriate electronic inventory and batch labeling Verify area to be used for staging is physically and electronically clear of any inventory Coordinate and transfer materials/product delivery to cleared staging area, completing the inventory transfers at the time of movement Document time removed from refrigeration/freezer (as applicable). Delivery and Returns (30%) Supply production areas with product to at least match the line pace/rate Track and document time removed from/returned to refrigeration/freezer (as applicable) Pick-up finished product and material at the line pace/rate (i.e. upon pallet completion) Remove batch related materials from the production area Complete inventory transfer transactions to the appropriate warehouse location(s) at time of transfer Safety, Recycling, and Continuous Improvement (15%) Review and ensure daily 6S compliance; complete checklist Ensure all safety practices are followed and keep area clean and clear of hazards Clean and clear debris from all work areas Identify, communicate and solve problems to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety objectives are met Coordinate recycling material pick-up and assist with recycling area organization (i.e. labeling, flow onto recycling truck) Receiving and Transfers (15%) Move materials and or product to appropriate warehouse location upon receipt, completing the necessary inventory transfers at the time of movement Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading when possible Verify all materials/product contain appropriate electronic inventory labeling when entering or leaving the premises Move items to be transferred from building into designated pick-up areas Cycle Counting and Replenishment (10%) Count part numbers or inventory items per the cycle count schedule Document and report discrepancies; correct and or request assistance to make appropriate inventory adjustments Maintain appropriate stock and replenish non-inventory items (such as supplies) for production. Packaging Operator Label, package and document per written instructions (40%) Package product in boxes, cartons, syringes, vials, blisters Count materials/product to ensure accurate count Apply labels to various components Replenish packaging materials to areas/work cells as directed by Group Leader Monitor and document TOR (time out of refrigeration) Complete batch record protocol steps at the time of performance Inspect, verify and track (35%) Scan printed materials Manually examine printed materials and products to ensure specifications are met, including variable text printed on-line Verify incoming materials for use Inspect product/materials for defects Perform bar code and systems challenges (as applicable) for equipment used Complete end of batch reconciliation and count verification Retrieve product samples Monitor and ensure appropriate downtime and efficiency information is logged accurately. Set-up, tear down and clear (15%) Participate and assist with line clearance activities Remove batch related materials from production area Ensure electronic inventory transactions for inventory tracking movement and material verification are completed Clean and clear debris from all work areas Dispose of rejects in the appropriate disposal area following reconciliation Stage materials in the appropriate designated locations Enter and verify information in logbooks, as needed Apply representation samples to the batch records as required Indicate appropriate signals with HMI (human machine interface) to track clearance, set-up, time, etc. Continuous improvement, safety, and training (10%) Participate/lead stretching exercises Review and ensure daily 6S compliance Ensure all safety practices are followed and keep area clean and clear of hazards Clean and clear debris from all work areas Identify, communicate and solve problems to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety objectives are met.
