*Customer Service Representative*

*FLSA STATUS *
Non-Exempt

*SUMMARY *
Assists Agent/Producer, provides service to assigned clients.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Other duties may be assigned

1. Provide service to assigned clients via telephone, fax and/or E-mail on an as-needed basis.

2. Collect information needed to generate insurance quotes.
3. Enter data into appropriate computer system.
4. Prepare monthly reports.
5. Track renewal dates for assigned clients.
6. Ensure all coverages are bound.
7. Quote additional coverages as requested.
8. Assist Agent/Producer with premium collection efforts.
9. Provide additional assistance to Producer/Agent as requested.

*QUALIFICATIONS*

*Education/Experience: *
High School diploma (or GED) required.
No experience required.
One to four years' office experience preferred, prior CSR experience a plus.

*Language Ability: *
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information in memos, reports, E-mails, and other documents; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to clients, employees and members of the business community.

*Math Ability: *
Basic math skills required.

*Reasoning Ability: *
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions required.

*Certificates and Licenses: *
No certifications required.
Insurance license must be obtained after hire if not currently licensed.

*Supervisory Responsibilities: *
This position does not supervise others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
