Indiana households. Build Indiana business. Indiana Connection, the
official publication of Indiana’s electric cooperatives, is
delivered to nearly 300,000 households every month , making it one
of the most widely read magazines in the state. We are seeking an
entrepreneurial and motivated sales representative to connect
Indiana-based businesses with our engaged readership. About the
Role: Freelance/independent contractor position (1099). Sell
advertising space to Indiana-based companies looking to reach
nearly 300,000 Hoosier households. Manage your own sales pipeline —
from prospecting and presenting to closing. Provide services
independently while representing Indiana Connection in a
professional manner. Non-exclusive : you may also sell advertising
for other publications or businesses. Compensation: 15% commission
on all advertising sales . No cap on earnings — the more you sell,
the more you earn. Freelance contractor role: no salary, no
benefits. (No taxes withheld.) Qualifications: Previous experience
in advertising, media, or B2B sales is a plus. Strong communication
and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated and goal-oriented
with an entrepreneurial mindset. High level of integrity and
professionalism. Based in Indiana and familiar with local markets.
