Through our Eagle Academy, we provide training and continued development with a mix of integrated classroom and hands-on experience. A Sales Account Specialist (SAS) will oversee all refund requests - Core and Partnerships, exert all effort and skill to assist the author to get their book published and prevent a refund, ethically, fairly and according to the company's standard of providing excellent customer care and satisfaction.

Key Functions

  • Contact authors regarding their manuscript failing content review and what steps can be taken to make the changes necessary to pass review. Work with the Production Team as needed to assist the author.
    • The following items may be given by the Sales Account Specialist to the authors as a 'goodwill' offer to help save the refund requests:
      • Rebrand of the previously bought publishing services
      • Downgrade of the previously bought publishing services, corresponding to what the author has already paid to AS.
      • Providing free or discounted services when needed, with the approval of the Sales Manager.
        • The Sales Account Specialist will call each author that has failed content review to assist the author with the requirements needed to complete the publishing process.
          • To document the above agreements and acknowledgement receipts in CRM tool.

            • To coordinate closely with the CSAT team and Production dept. as needed regarding changes in content and refund status.
              • Ensures that all saved content fails and refunds are tagged as "SAVED" in the CRM tool Refund Form.
                • To notify the Sales Manager through email every time successfully 'saved' a refund request.
                  • To track all successful save attempts, for validation by end of month.

                    Sales Account Specialist Qualifications:
                    • High School diploma required
                    • Community College or University degree preferred
                    • At least two (2) years experience in a professional environment preferred
