Job Title: AP/AR Specialist Location: Indianapolis, IN Job Type:
Full-time Department: Accounting / Finance Experience Level: Entry
to Mid-Level (1-3 Years) Job Overview We are seeking a
detail-oriented and motivated AP/AR Specialist to join our
accounting team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of
experience in AP/AR , strong data entry skills, and working
knowledge of Excel formulas and Yardi. This is a great opportunity
for someone looking to grow their career in finance while playing a
key role in managing the day-to-day AP/AR functions. Key
Responsibilities Process and reconcile all AP/AR transactions,
ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Perform high-volume data entry
for invoices, payments, and receivables. Utilize Excel formulas to
analyze and validate financial data. Maintain up-to-date vendor and
customer records related to AP/AR accounts. Monitor aging reports
and follow up on outstanding receivables. Support monthly closing
processes related to AP/AR . Work within the Yardi system to post
entries and generate reports. Communicate with internal teams and
external vendors regarding AP/AR discrepancies and resolutions.
Assist with audits and provide documentation related to AP/AR
activities. Requirements 1-3 years of hands-on AP/AR experience.
Strong proficiency in Excel , including knowledge of formulas such
as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and pivot tables. Experience with Yardi or
similar property/accounting software. High level of accuracy in
data entry and financial record-keeping. Excellent communication
and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in
a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience
in the real estate or property management sector. Associate's or
bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Familiarity with basic accounting principles beyond AP/AR . Why
