As our business expands, we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team and help ensure smooth financial operations. Position Summary: The AR Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's incoming payments, accurately maintaining customer accounts, and assisting in the overall accounting process. This is a key role supporting our accounting department and contributing to the financial health of the company. Responsibilities: Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices based on project billing schedules and contracts Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on outstanding payments Apply cash receipts, credit memos, and adjustments Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies Work closely with project managers and internal teams to ensure billing accuracy Assist in month-end closing procedures and reporting Maintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions and transactions Support lien waiver preparation and release of lien processes when needed Assist with collections efforts in a professional and customer-focused manner Perform other related accounting duties as assigned Qualifications: 2 years of Accounts Receivable or general accounting experience (construction industry experience is a plus) Strong understanding of billing processes, including progress billing and retainage Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off) Supportive and team-oriented work culture Opportunities for professional development and growth Stability with a well-established company ZRCFS LI-Onsite
